The in-between size
Too much for a 10, not enough to fill a 20. A 15-yard is the box for a roof tear-off, flooring through half the house, or a basement that turned into storage.
Takes about two minutes.
Roughly 16 by 8 ft, with walls around 4 ft high.
Fifteen cubic yards of room.
Fits most home driveways with space left over.
Delivery, pickup and the landfill fee are typically included.
Tell us about the job and where the box should sit. A local provider will follow up about your request.
Your name, ZIP and a line about the job is enough to get a local provider connected.
You’ll see it on screen and in your inbox the moment it goes through.
A local provider will call or text you about your request.
Four to five pickup loads. That covers a single-layer roof on an average house, flooring pulled from several rooms, a modest kitchen, or a basement cleanout with some old furniture in it.
People skip past the 15 because they've only heard of 10s and 20s. Plenty of home jobs land right here, and it takes up less of the driveway than a 20.

If your job is on this list, a 15 will probably cover it.
| The job | Fits a 15? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Roof tear-off, one layer | Yes | Average-size house. Big roofs or two layers need a 20. |
| Flooring across several rooms | Yes | Carpet, pad, laminate or hardwood. |
| Basement or garage cleanout | Yes | Including some furniture. |
| Kitchen remodel | Usually | If walls are coming down too, go 20. |
| Deck removal | Yes | Most decks, railings and all. |
| Whole-house renovation | No | Several rooms of demo needs a 20. |
Stuck between two sizes? Go up one. A second haul costs more than the bigger box.
Roofs catch people out. Shingles are heavy, so the right box depends on how big the roof is and how many layers are coming off. Two layers on a large house can overload a 15 that looked like plenty.
If you know the number of squares (a square is 100 square feet of roof), put it on the form along with the layers. If you don't, a rough idea of the house size is enough for us to call it.
For a roof, those two numbers decide the box.
It needs to back straight in, with clear space overhead.
Tell us the day you expect to finish. We'll move it if the job slips.
What's going in, where the box should sit and when you need it. It takes a couple of minutes.
You'll hear what size fits and whether a smaller box will do. The local provider confirms pricing for your request.
Boards under the rails if you want them. Swap it partway through, or keep it until the work is done.
Don’t see yours? Put it in the notes on the form and a local provider will follow up.
Send us the job and we'll tell you straight whether a 15 covers it or you need the 20.
